1. Confirm the correct direction of rotation of the motor.
The rotation direction of the motor should be clarified, there are many types of sewage pumps can produce water when rotating forward and reverse, but when the reverse water is small, the current is large, the reversal time will damage the motor windings.
2. Leakage protector installation
The function of an earth leakage protector, also called a life preserver, can be understood from the word "life preserver". Because sewage pumps work underwater, they are prone to leakage, causing power loss and even electric shock. If equipped with a Leakage Protector, as long as the value of sewage pump leakage exceeds the value of the action current of the Leakage Protector (generally no more than 30 mA), the Leakage Protector will cut off the power of the sewage pump, ensuring safety, while avoiding leakage and waste of electricity.
3. Do not let the sewage pump work overload for a long time.
In order to avoid overloading the pump for a long time, do not pump water with a large amount of sand and always observe whether the current value is specified on the nameplate, if you find that the current is too large, you should shut down and check. In addition, the pump should not run for too long in order to avoid overheating and burning the motor.
4. Pay attention to daily maintenance
Always check the motor, if you find cracks on the lower cover, damaged or invalid rubber seal ring, etc., you should replace or repair it in time to avoid water infiltration into the sewage pump.
